22/23 May 2010 - International Dog Show of Spring of the RSCE (SP): On Saturday, Samspring Eclipse da Lua was BOS and got the CAC-CACIB with his mandatory point for the spanish championship. Cabaka's Miss Ulli of Playhard won the open class and was second best female with RCAC-RCACIB. On Sunday, Oakley's Gabriella (english setter) had her first show ever and was 2nd best female with RCAC-RCACIB. Judge for both days and both breeds was Claudio Di Giulliani (IT).

13 May 2010 - Samspring Right Here Waiting (M) out of Arti and Val was the first to leave the house, he went to his home in US. The other puppies will also start leaving soon. We know that all of them will live as family members, will be spoiled and probably shown at dog shows too! We couldn't have asked for better families! All of them exported once again. Good luck Samspring Still Loving you (F), Samspring Love Bites (M), Samspring Here I Go Again (M) and Samspring Straight From the Heart (F). We hope to hear a lot of good news and to receive lots of photos from these wonderful puppies. Samspring Wind of Change (F) is staying at home! I will soon make their individual pages.

08 May 2010 - 22nd International Dog Show of Elvas: Samspring Sir Lancelot was BOB, BOG and junior male RBIS!!!!!!!!! He was presented by Isabela Monteiro, daughter of our dear friend Rui Monteiro from Casa Mont'alves Thank you so much friends, job well donne! Quest is still in junior class and unbeatable!!!!! Breed Judge was Leif Ragnar-Hjorth (NO) and Group Judge Robert Blümel (AT)

11 Apr 2010 - 5th International Dog Show of the Blue Coast: Samspring Sir Lancelot was BOB, BIG and junior male BIS!!!!!!!! Zamoisky Lucky Priscilla was BOS with CACIB. Breed Judge: Leif Ragnar-Hjorth (NO); Group Judge: Nemanja Jovanovic (RS). Isabela Monteiro presented her in the junior handlers and together they ended up in third BIS!!!! Oakley's Ravishing (english setter) was BOB under judge David Wong (AU)

28 Mar 2010 - 7th National Dog Show of Caldas da Rainha: Samspring Sir Lancelot was BOB, BOG2 and junior male RBIS. Zamoisky Lucky Priscilla was BOS with CCC. Breed and Group judge: Vincent O'Brien (IE), Junior BIS judge: Zeferino Silva (PT). Oakley's Ravishing (ES) was BOB and BOG3. Breed and Group judge: Vincent O'Brien (IE)

27, 28 Mar 2010 - 55th National and 23rd International Dog Shows of Vigo (SP): Cabaka's Miss Ulli of Playhard was BOB with CAC and RBOG on Saturday. Breed Judge was Luigi, Corna (IT) and Group Judge was Chie Ejima (JP). On Sunday Ulli was BOB achieving one more CAC-CACIB under judge Chie Ejima (JP). Thank you so much Rui Monteiro (Casa Mont'alves Laekenois and Shetlands) for taking Ulli with you to these shows and for the great handling and grooming work of both you and your daughter Isabela!

17 Mar 2010 - Oakley's Gabriella arrived!!!!!!! Coming from Seattle, US, Gabriella arrives in Portugal with Paula and Ted of Oakley Setters! Thank you so much for another beautiful girl and for all the fun, all the help, trust and friendship!

25 Feb 2010 - On Pedro's birthday, Arti (Samspring Artemis) decided to give birth to a litter of 6 beautiful puppies (3M and 3F) sired by our Val (Cabaka's Valiant of Gucci). We have high hopes for these puppies, they have some very famous samoyeds in their pedigrees and the best of both UK and US type.

21 Feb 2010 - 3rd National Dog Show of Fafe: Samspring Sir Lancelot was best junior in breed, 2nd best male and Samspring Eclipse da Lua was BOB with CAC and BOG3!!!!!! Breed Judge: Manuel L. Borges (PT), Group Judge: F. Salvador Janeiro (PT). Oakley's Ravishing (ES) was BOB and BOG2!!!!!!! Breed and Group judge F. Salvador Janeiro (PT).

13,14 Feb 2010 - Spent Valentine's weekend at Hilton hotel in Helsinki...alone! Well...it was for a good reason: I went to get Luka back (Samspring Eclipse da Lua )and left Val (Cabaka's Valiant of Gucci) in exchange, both are going to make some shows and who knows meeting some lovely girls too! For more information contact us or Snowmist. Kenny, Set'r Ridge's Sensation at Samspring also stayed in Finland but this one, sadly, for personal reasons, is staying forever, at kennel Cisosan . We kept frozen semen to be used once.

16,17 Jan 2010 - At the first weekend of shows of the season, in the biggest portuguese dog shows held in Porto (National and International dog Shows of Porto): Cabaka's Valiant of Gucci gets the title of PW10 Porto Winner 2010, Cabaka's Miss Ulli of Playhard finishes her portuguese championship and Oakley's Ravishing makes her first titles (JE10 jovem esperança 2010 and PPW10 Porto puppy winner 2010) winning the puppy group both days. While waiting to go to Australia, Samspring Sir Lancelot is being shown also, he was defeated by his litter brother Tristan (Samspring Sir Tristan) the first day but he won the puppy breed the next day. Samoyed judges: Rui Oliveira (PT) on Saturday and Ronald Menaker (US) on Sunday. ES judges: José Cabral (PT) on Saturday and Henric Fryckstrand (SE) on Sunday. Puppy finals judges: José Cabral (PT) on Saturday and Claudio Di Giulliano (IT) on Sunday. Cabaka's Valiant of Gucci also competes for the BIS dog of the year 2009 and ends up in 4th only by one point from the third!

Cabaka's Valiant of Gucci finishes 2009 as top samoyed, top dog of the group and #5 top dog all breeds, #5 top junior all breeds and #5 top puppy all breeds, all in the same year! He had many group wins, a RBIS at only 10 months old...it was a good year for a boy who just started and was most of the year without a full coat.
